The
FibreDisk FC42DISK-D4™ is a modular, 4U, symmetrically designed subsystem with
standard modules and protocols for maximum flexibility.
The enclosure is designed for maximum expandability and flexibility.
The FibreDisk FC42DISK-D4™ uses only common drive modules. For any system to be
able to meet the needs of future requirements, expansibility is
essential. The FibreDisk FC42DISK-D4™ was designed with this in mind. With the
FibreDisk FC42DISK-D4™ , the power supply and fan units are enclosed within the
same module. Combined with a larger module volume and a larger fan
unit, a more powerful power supply can be used because of better
airflow. An Airflow Redirector is also in the design, eliminating
pockets of dead air and so preventing any overheating concerns. The
FibreDisk FC42DISK-D4™ incorporates a cabless design resulting in better
signal integrity.
